Arsenal, Clubs, France, International Friendly, Olivier Giroud, Story

Antoine Griezmann and Olivier Giroud found the back of the net as France made easy work of Wales in a friendly.
After Ronald Koeman revealed that Olivier Giroud nearly signed to Everton, the FC guys ponder how the striker would’ve fit.

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has withdrawn from the France squad for Tuesday’s friendly against Germany in Cologne.

The 31-year-old, injured in Friday evening’s 2-0 win over Wales in Paris, underwent tests in Rambouillet on Saturday.

The French Football Federation confirmed on its website on Sunday that the tests showed the striker had suffered a right thigh strain,

He has returned to his club, who host Tottenham in the North London derby in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime.

Giroud had earlier said he has no regrets over his decision to stay at Arsenal and added the trust manager Arsene Wenger has in him is a big reason.
