Staying upbeat on social media after a defeat is never easy, so spare a thought for the good folks at Minnesota United, who had to find something to say after Saturday’s defeat to the New York Red Bulls, which was the Loons’ 12th in 21 games in their inaugural MLS season.

However, while kudos go to the players involved for timing their forward runs, we’re not sure this will lift morale.

Alternatively, maybe this is merely a nice line in self-deprecation; either way, everyone associated with the club will hope that Saturday’s game vs. D.C. United produces some more obvious things to shout about!
