Manchester United and Leicester will get the season under way.

Manchester United will raise the curtain on the new 2018-19 Premier League season when they take on Leicester City at Old Trafford on Friday, Aug. 10.

The game was confirmed to kick off 24 hours ahead of previously scheduled when U.K. television broadcast rights holders Sky Sports and BT Sport revealed their selections for the first two months of the campaign.

It is the second season in a row that Leicester, shock champions in 2015-16, have been chosen for the opening game. They were involved in a thrilling 4-3 defeat at Arsenal last term, with the Gunners scoring twice in the final seven minutes to snatch victory when defeat seemed certain.

Reigning champions Manchester City have seen their game at Arsenal pushed back 24 hours to Sunday, Aug. 12. 

Other highlights see Liverpool’s first five games of the season moved for broadcast. That is in contrast to Fulham, who will their first five matches back in the Premier League kicking off at the traditional time of 3 p.m. BST on a Saturday.

Every club will be shown at least once by Sky Sports in the opening two months, with Bournemouth having to wait longer than Fulham for a TV fixture before they face Crystal Palace.on Monday, Oct. 1.

Chelsea vs. Arsenal will now be at 5.30 p.m. BST kickoff on Saturday, Aug. 18, with Man United vs. Tottenham Hotspur pushed back to Monday, Aug. 27.

Spurs will take on Liverpool in a lunchtime kickoff on Saturday, Sept. 15, before Jurgen Klopp’s side travel to Chelsea at 5.30 p.m. BST on Saturday, Sept. 29.
