Gab Marcotti and Steve Nicol see no reason why Gareth Bale couldn’t stay at Real Madrid if they were to sign Kylian Mbappe.
Gareth Bale has confirmed he is happy at Real Madrid after winning his third Champions League title with the club.

Gareth Bale has said he is “hungrier than ever” to win trophies at Real Madrid despite reports suggesting he could soon make way for Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe.

Spanish outlet Marca reported that a deal to take Mbappe to Madrid would only happen if Bale moved on.

Wales international Bale has been linked with Manchester United but has said he is happy in Spain.

He suffered an injury-hit season for Madrid and was on the bench as they won the Champions League in Cardiff earlier this month.

But he told reporters: “I’m feeling better than ever, and I can’t wait for the new season to start.

“I’m hungrier than ever to win more trophies for the biggest club and best fans in the world.”
