There have been many “new Cristiano Ronaldos” talked about in recent years, but the Real Madrid star’s long term replacement is being developed in-house.

Cristiano Jr, 7, has been impressing recently for his team at the American School of Madrid — known as “the Lancers” — where he recently scored six goals in a victory over rivals Bernadette “B.

The chip off the old block definitely appears to have inherited some of his father’s skills, and Jr. fired home an impressive long range free kick in this week’s fixture, with his proud dad sharing the video along with message “Nothing is coincidence.”

Ronaldo Sr’s own accuracy from dead balls has been questioned at times in recent years, and he has not converted any of the 21 free kicks attempted in La Liga and the Champions League so far in 2017-18. Maybe he could start asking for some tips…
