Chelsea, Clubs, David Meyler, English FA Cup, Hull City, Story, Willian

Antonio Conte says Willian’s two-goal night in Chelsea’s FA Cup win over Hull City adds to the difficulty of choosing the best lineup to face Barcelona.
Olivier Giroud extended Chelsea’s lead over Hull City in the FA Cup to 4-0 with his first goal for the club since his move from Arsenal.
A brace from Willian and Olivier Giroud’s first goal for the club highlighted Chelsea’s dominant victory over Hull City in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Willian revealed that he psyched out David Meyler just before the midfielder missed a penalty in Chelsea’s victory over Hull City in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

The Brazil international scored two goals as Chelsea advanced to the quarterfinals, with Olivier Giroud claiming his first goal with his new club and Pedro also on target in the 4-0 victory.

He also had a word in Meyler’s ear just before his spot kick was saved by Willy Caballero — and revealed he told his opponent he would fail with his attempt.

“I said to him, ‘You’re going to miss,'” Willian told BBC after the game. “I said, ‘Don’t shoot in the middle because Willy won’t move, he stays,’ and then when he missed I said, ‘I told you.'”

Willian struck the post with a late effort that denied him a first hat trick, but then immediately targeted further goals against Barcelona.

“It was almost there,” he told Chelsea’s website. “I tried to score one more goal but the most important thing was the win.

“I was unlucky but I hope there are more goals to come in the next match.”
