With the January window on the horizon, there’s plenty brewing in the transfer market. All the latest deals and potential deals can be found here.

Gunners plot ambitious Martial move

Arsenal have made plans for the probable event that Alexis Sanchez leaves in the next year with the Mirror revealing that the Gunners are targeting Manchester United star Anthony Martial.

The Chilean has long been linked with Manchester City, while Arsenal failed to strike a deal for a replacement late in the summer after strong links with Thomas Lemar and Raheem Sterling.

Now it seems as if Martial is Arsene Wenger’s preferred choice, with the 21-year-old seen as an ideal fit out wide or through the middle, as Sanchez has been over the last year.

Jose Mourinho has used the former Monaco star intermittently this season, though fierce competition means Martial is never far from finding himself back on the bench; a move to the Emirates will give him guaranteed minutes each week.

Is Anthony Martial the man to replace Alexis Sanchez at the Emirates?

Coutinho not for sale in January

Liverpool have warned Barcelona that Philippe Coutinho will not be sold this winter with the Mirror claiming the Blaugrana are likely to go back in for the Brazilian in January.

Ernesto Valverde is keen to add Coutinho with the Spanish club tabling a number of bids this summer, the biggest of which totalled £118 million.

The Reds hold a strong bargaining position with the 25-year-old still having more than four years to run on his deal at Anfield until 2022.

Whispers link Hazard and Alli with Real

Eden Hazard is likely to be Real Madrid’s primary target for next summer with the Daily Star reporting Los Blancos want the Belgian star to be their latest Galactico.

Dele Alli is another target after the England international’s prolific goal scoring form for Spurs over the last couple of seasons.

The Champions League holders also look set to move for a new goalkeeper as well after their slow start to the La Liga season.

Bayern make move for Neuer cover

Bayern Munich are considering a serious investment in a top-class goalkeeper due to concerns over a long layoff for Manuel Neuer.

The Bundesliga giants want Gianluigi Donnarumma, who could be available from AC Milan next summer if the Rossoneri fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Die Mannschaft’s No.1 could be out until March with a foot fracture.

Calcio Mercato believes Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen is another target, while Athletic Bilbao’s Kepa Arrizabalaga is a third option.

Tap-ins

– Liverpool could make a significant move to strengthen their squad his winter, but not in the area that many of their fans hope.

That is despite Jurgen Klopp’s outstanding attack, with the Reds keen to sign Spartak Moscow’s winger Quincy Promes, reports Transfer Market Web.

– West Ham want Anderlecht star Lukasz Teodorczyk, according to the Mirror.

The Hammers will find competition from Liverpool though, with Serie A side Torino also keen, and suitors will likely make a January move for the £7m-rated striker.
