With spirits high after their midweek trouncing of Maribor, it’s perhaps unsurprising that several members of the Liverpool squad were in the mood for a sing-song on their way into work the following day.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was joined in his car by teammates Daniel Sturridge, Joe Gomez and Nathaniel Clyne, who all harmonised beautifully during a soulful rendition of Mario’s 2004 pop classic “Let Me Love You”.

Should you wish to hear your favourite stars mangle even more songs, the full nine-minute video is available on Liverpool’s official Youtube channel, with the quartet finishing off their journey with a truly stirring version of You’ll Never Walk Alone.
